During August-September 2021 the team had an extended stay at the ESA Education Cubesat Support Facility, deep in the Ardennes region of Belgium. The goal was to 'qualify' the EIRSAT-1 fully integrated satellite for spaceflight and to test the performance of two of the subsystems individually.
